In addition to redesigning the Inspire 2 from the ground up, DJI also engineered an entirely new way of capturing high resolution imagery. The CineCore 2.0 system utilizes DJI's latest solid state drives called the DJI CINESSD. The DJI CINESSD uses an NVMe logical device interface specification, features four PCI Express* ports and supports FAT32/exFAT** file formats.
The DJI CINESSD is available in three sizes - 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. To record at the full 5.2K resolution leveraging the available CinemaDNG and Apple ProRes licenses, you must use either the CINESSD 240GB or CINESSD 480GB.
In order to streamline your workflow and offload your imagery from the CINESSD most efficiently, it is recommended to use the DJI CINESSD Station, a custom-engineered media reader that allows for the direct offloading of imagery from the CINESSD.
